Leadership and Service
As I became increasingly involved with Engineers for a Sustainable World, I strove to get involved from a leadership level, and give back to the club. Throughout my junior and senior years at Buffalo, I held a variety of leadership positions to help the club grow. Now at Purdue, I continue to serve ESW as a Graduate Advisor to ESW-Purdue.
ESW-UB Project Leader: Solar Cargo Research Project
I began my leadership in ESW as a project leader with fellow member and friend, Mike Alcazaren. We led the project through the proposal stage during Spring of 2011.
ESW 2011 National Conference Co-Chair
The University at Buffalo chapter was selected to host the 2011 National Conference. Again working with Mike Alcazaren, we led the planning and organization of the conference.
ESW-UB Vice President and Project Coordinator
At the end of my junior year at Buffalo, I was elected to serve ESW-UB as Vice President and Project Coordinator. In this role, I oversaw and managed all of ESW-UB's projects and project leaders, as well as helped to run the day-to-day operations of the club.
ESW-Purdue Graduate Advisor
Before arriving at Purdue, I reached out to a Purdue student serving on ESW National's committee, Justin Hess. As ESW-Purdue had fallen apart, I have since been working with Justin and the ESW-Purdue president to rebuild ESW-Purdue with my experience from Buffalo.
